Rebuilt administration module for their electronic storefront. Did maintenance work on their electronic storefront. Did maintenance work on their CRM system. Imported data from their European branch into their new CRM system. Responsibilities : Completion of work in a timely and efficient manor.

Project Description : Reverse engineered systems from one plant for use in another plant at Solectron. Defined the requirements for the new system at the Solectron Charlotte, NC plant. Defined and built a framework for communicating with Solectron's backend systems using Winsock TCP/IP communication. Responsibilities : Completion of work in a timely and efficient manor.

Company and Time frame : Channelinx Inc, 2000-July 2002-July Title : VB/ASP Developer Skills/Software used : Visual Basic 6.0, SQL Server, Oracle, Java 1.2, Java Messaging Services, XML, XSLT, COM, COM+, DCOM, Ariba, Commerce One?, SAP, ADO, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Microsofts Document Object Model., Jacob, ASP. Project Description : Worked on Channelinx's flagship product E-Linx. This product is basically an electronic storefront that can hook directly into backend ERP systems. Did the following work to the product. Added an API to eLinx that sends XML messages through JMS to a Fax application. Modified an adapter for eLinx that receives XML messages through JMS to perform various functions in SAP. ie. Creating orders, getting prices, checking statuses, etc. Added Ariba Punchout capability to eLinx, this enables the Ariba supply chain to punch out to eLinx to shop for items. Added Commerce Roundtrip functionality to eLinx, this enables Commerce One supply chains to punch out to eLinx to shop for items. Assisted in the design for two new modules, a message router which routes JMS messages to various locations, and a message transformer, which takes an XML message and transforms it into a new data type. (sometimes in conjunction with the message router) Worked on a number of adapters in Java that listen for JMS messages in XML to perform various operations. Project Description : Worked on Channelinx's second product Content Manager. This product converts data in one file format into either another format or into database tables. Did the following work to the product. Coded a scheduling application in Java, which calls COM DLL's at scheduled intervals. Coded this with Jacob an Open Source Java library. Coded various pages using ASP, VB, ADO, Javascript, HTML, SQL Server, and Oracle. Coded a number of XSLT transforms using the Microsoft DOM. Company and Time frame : Rockwell Automation Power Systems?, 1999-May July 2000 Title : Technical lead for E-Business Skills/Software used : Visual Basic 6.0, ADO, COM, Perl, Javascript, Sybase, Netscape Enterprise Server, Java Server Pages, Allaire JRUN, Java Servlets, Selectica, Unix Shell Scripting, Internet Information Server, SSL encryption, ASP. Project Description : Setup and configured two new servers for www.reliance.com and www.powersystems.com then moved old site to these new servers. Project Description : Rewrote WRAP a warrantee and returns application to interface with the order management system at the Greenville office. Project Description : ROME This intranet based application allowed people within the company to check on where products are in the manufacturing cycle. We moved this system from Ohio to the Greenville office and modified it to keep more up to date information (updated hourly). Project Description : MOTOR CONFIGURATOR This is an intranet-based system designed so that sales people can configure motors for customers and send the resulting motors to the plants. I was part of the team that selected Selectica software for this Project. Installed the software and assisted in setting up the motor configuration tables. Project Description : POWERSYSTEMS INTRANET Installed the intranet for powersystems. Installed the web server, setup up standards for use, and recommended a content management system for use. Responsibilities : Responsible for keeping www.reliance.com, www.powersystems.com and the above projects operational on a 24x7 basis.

Company and Time frame : IS&C State of WV, 1998-MAY 1999-MAY Skills/Software used : Cold Fusion?, Internet Information Server, SSL encryption, ASP, Pardox, Oracle, Access, Verity, SQL Server Title : Project Leader Project Description :TAX REFUND INQUIRY Constructed a tax refund inquiry on the Internet, so that people can view the status of their refund. The system takes a weekly download from off of the mainframe and converts it into a DBF file for use by the system. This system is available at : https://www.state.wv.us/SECURE/TAX/(approve sites) Project Description : PERSONNEL'S JOB VACANCY SYSTEM This system was designed to take information from Personnel's Job Vacancy system on the mainframe and make it searchable on the web. Every Monday an automated FTP sends the information to the system, and the server reads this information in the system on an automated basis. This system is available at: http://www.state.wv.us/scripts/admin/personel/default.cfm(approve sites) Project Description : SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT BOARD'S WASTE EXCHANGE This system was designed to take information on waste materials and make them available on the web. Any company can go online and see what materials are available and add materials that they wish to dispose of. This system is available at : http://www.state.wv.us/swmb/exchange/default.htm(approve sites) Project Description : GOVERNOR'S OFFICE SITE REDESIGN AND PRESS RELEASE DATABASES This was one of our first site redesigns, which later lead to some database work. The site was redesigned for the current administration and 2 new databases were added to the site :a searchable database for press releases and a searchable database for the Governor's weekly column. On each of these database's the information is entered in on-line on a password protected page and the information is then sent out on an e-mail list of people who wish to receive this information. Project Description : DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN RESOURCES DEADBEAT PARENTS SYSTEM This was the first system that we developed in Active Server Pages on another agencies server. This system takes information automatically downloaded from the mainframe and puts it into an SQL Server database for use by the web server. It is designed to let people on the Internet look up and verify child support payments, it was based on their mainframe phone system. Project Description : IT PLANNING DATABASE This system was designed for the Governor's Office of Technology to acquire information from agencies for their yearly IT plan. Responsibilities : Responsible for meeting with users to determine their needs. Completion of work in a timely and efficient manor.

Company and Time frame : IS&C State of WV 1996-1998 Title : Programmer/Analyst I Skills/Software used : Windows NT, Internet Information Server, Cold Fusion, Paradox Project Description : STATE WEB SERVER This has consisted of training agencies to construct their own web pages and setting them up to add their own material to the server on a 24x7 basis. I constructed the State main page from its construction to May 1999. This started by setting up a Windows NT 3.51 system with Microsoft's Internet Information Server 1.0 to start the state homepage at http://www.state.wv.us(approve sites). Over the years we continued to add agencies to the server and to update the system as needed. We started in Jun of 1996 with only 3 agencies, as of March 199 we had 76 agencies and we received 4.98 million hits for that month. When I left we were running Windows NT 4.0 with Microsoft's Internet Information Server 3.0 and there were over 70,000 files on the web root of the server. Project Description : DEVELOPMENT OFFICE INDUSTRIAL PROPERTIES DATABASE This system was the first web application that IS&C created. This system was designed so that companies that were planning to do business in West Virginia could look for information on various industrial properties within the state. In a later evolution of the system it would even take changes to information on these industrial properties. Project Description : TOURISM BROCHURE DATABASE This system was designed to take the information from the 1-800-CALLWVA system developed by our Delphi team and make it searchable on the web. Project Description : STATE PHONE DIRECTORY This system was designed to take the information in the State telephone book that resides on the state mainframe and make it searchable on the web. This system is automatically updated on a daily basis. Company and Time frame : IS&C State of WV, 1994-1996 Title :Programmer Skills/Software used : Paradox for Windows and Dos, Windows NT, Oracle Project Description : REGIONAL JAIL AUTHORITY BILLING SYSTEM Originally started working on this system for maintenance, but was soon hired on a part-time basis to rewrite the system. The system was built to construct the inmate billing for all of the regional jails within the state. Each jail uploads their information to the main office where the main billing is run, but all jails have the capacity to run the main billing in case of an emergency. This system is still in production today at each regional jail in the state. Project Description : PARADOX FOR WINDOWS LIBRARY When IS&C first started moving from Paradox for Dos to Paradox for Windows, I constructed a set of libraries to make some of the development easier. These libraries consisted of a security system, network locking functions, report viewing, and basic system functions. These libraries were used in all of the Paradox for Windows systems that IS&C has. Project Description : DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES RIGHT OF WAY SYSTEM

  This system was developed in Paradox for Windows for the Department of Natural Resources. 

It was built to construct the billing and mailing list for right of ways within the state. Right of ways are monies that the state receives to allow companies to use state land. Example : A gas line crossing a creek. Project Description : TOURISM 1-800-CALLWVA BROCHURE REQUEST SYSTEM I was requested to set up a Windows NT network with an ORACLE database for the 1-800-CALLWVA brochure request system that was developed by our Delphi team.
