Systems Engineering
  • Generated system requirements for several projects
  • Designed, configured and demonstrated an asymmetric satellite network link (1.5 Mbps downlink / 9.6 Kbps uplink).
  • Configured multicasting over the asymetric satellite network link

Demonstration Project Lead
  • Managed a team of six software and system engineers through the creation and execution of a major software demonstration for a $750 Million proposal.
  • Interfaced with the customer to determine the requirements that would be demonstrated, to create the appropriate customer documentation, to coordinate the installation of hardware at the demonstration location, and to obtain the appropriate network connectivity to complete the demonstration.

  • Was the liaison between the systems engineering, software engineering, and project management to coordinate the requirements, architectural design, and the details of the live demonstration that was presented to the customer.
  • Generated software requirements from system-level requirements using Object-Oriented design and analysis techniques and the Rational Rose CASE tool.
  • Created and monitored the demonstration schedule using an incremental development, test, and integration strategy.
  • Mentored junior engineers on the project in the areas of software estimation, software process, integration testing, and the creation of necessary process documents.
