Contributed articles for Ole Brats, including Zany Asha’s On A Secret Mission (interview with Asha Gill) and interviews with the Malaysian Prime Minister, Head of the Democratic Action Party, and others for Merdeka Day Supplement 2004. Also assisted in marine conservation efforts with other BRA Ts? in Mabul, Sabah in 2003, and currently participating in World AIDS Day performance with the Malaysian AIDS Council.

Was selected as one of the Top 10 semi-finalists in Johor leg of Hitz.FM Radio Icon 2004. Performed mock scripts and recorded voiceovers for airplay on Hitz.FM.

SAFRA Radio
Participated in Radio DJ course in 2003. Collaborated with other participants to record and produce 15-minute radio show. Learnt and practiced skills related to radio presentation, advertising, marketing, and voice.

Limkokwing University College – Clubs and Societies
Held leadership roles in NEWAVE (Campus Newsletter), Performing Arts Club, and PR & Events Club. Collaborated with Executive Committees of all Clubs and Societies, as well as Student Services, in collecting information about the clubs and their activities. Co-organized Clubs and Societies activities such as Club Carnival and Open Day.

Amnesty International
Volunteered for A Girl’s Day Out in Mid Valley? Megamall and Mix.Fm’s Banashas Sale in KLCC LRT Station. Provided information about women’s rights issues internationally, as well as the Stop Violence Against Women campaign. Also coordinated the Hand Print? wall, arranged memberships to Amnesty International, and promoted sales of Banashas and Amnesty International merchandise.

Sultan Ibrahim Girls School
Prefect – assisted teachers and students alike with school matters and maintained order in the school environment. Assisted and participated in various school activities, including Teacher’s Day 2001. Was also Assistant Head Editor for the School Yearbook, and held leadership posts in various clubs, coordinating club activities with students and advisors as well as participating in academic and community activities.
